my guess is mei mei is the first person to book the whole of peramakan for a birthday *grin*
fitting of course, as the little princess turned one, with fantastic tea time bites prepared specially for the occasion, the whole law, goh and chua gang around to celebrate and close friends for great company. my sis ensured that only the best of peramakan was served so we all indulged in roti jalas and kueh pie tees but the desserts still stole the limelight with freshly made apom balik, pulau hitam, chendol and lots of gula melaka!
the cake was so pretty, all dressed up in pink and made up with a delicate skinny pink candle. pity it looked better then it tasted (it was a half carrot, half choc fudge cake) but i guess it was all good. picture perfect for the one year old princess! happy birthday mei mei!
ps: peramakan know serves afternoon tea (guess the party was such a hit!)
