lamb & pita

been a while since one six b served lamb so pak law decided to treat the regulars to the meat, this time with a somewhat middle eastern twist. i love pita, simple doughy little discs..yummy on its own, stuffed with filling or even with just a touch of salted butter. dinner that evening was toasted pita with grilled slices of lamb. it was a do-it-yourself meal, with all of us getting down and dirty filling up our pita sleeves with as much of the tender grilled meats as we could, not forgetting of course to top it all off with lots of mint jelly. the lamb was outstanding (as usual *grin*) and so good that most of us decided after about two pita sleeves to just enjoy the meat on its own. mom too was treated to yet another variation to pak law's chicken, this time skewered and wrapped with crispy pieces of bacon.

yet another good meal...perfect ending to the weekend,and a good start to another work week!
