reopened!

just in case some people were wondering (and worrying *grin*), no....restaurant one six b is still cooking up a storm, except that pak law was away on a golfing sabbatical for a week so the kitchen's been somewhat closed. but two nights after returning, pak law decided to warm up the kitchen before the weekend and cooked up a simple yet satisfying dinner of roasted stuffed chicken.

pak law's chicken has always been really good...but this time around, the dish was really quite out of this world. roasted with rosemary, and stuffed with yummy italian sausages and chestnut, the bird was tender and full of flavour. i protested when g took a quarter of the chicken for me because it looked like alot! but i managed to finish the whole piece and had seconds! the stuffing was awesome, rich with herbs, it not only added a new dimension to the flavor of the chicken, it added a nice texture to the entire dish. to top it all off, the roasted potatoes and garlic were cooked with the chicken, absorbing all the yummy juices and truly completed the meal!
