molten chocolate cake!

it was oso buco night the other day, with proud pak law eager to impress the regulars at one six b with his new creation (check out all piccies under oso bocu). but i decided since i already raved about pak law's oso buco, i decided to dedicate this post to the awesome dessert that evening.

auntie ta spoilt all of us with her rendition of gordon ramsey's molten chocolate cake. word has it that the best version is housed at morton's, baked with godiva chocolate...i haven't had the opportunity just yet to try the morton's dessert, but i would believe that it would really have to be really, really, really good to out-taste auntie ta's! the chocolate cake was soft, moist and not too sweet. digging into the cake revealed velvety smooth chocolate, which complemented the moist cake, filling the mouth with rich, full bodied cocoa flavors. topped with a huge dollop of home hand whipped cream, the regulars at one six b would definitely be requesting for more of this home made version of molten chocolate cake!
