old school....

things have been a little rough for this girl lately, what with the work and constant doings, that it was getting hard to see where everything was going...thank god though for putting special people in life that put up with the ranting and moodiness and truly provide some perspective.

it really hit me as i left lorgan's, which has officially become my favourite furniture store by the way, that it didn't matter what i did or what others thought of me, as long as there was someone who could share the little thrills in my life and smile and laugh with me. which was precisely what happened as i gushed and went on and on about lorgan's *grin*

i fell in love with the place, right from the first glance of its retro shopfront to its curio-filled interiors. old and new combined, it was like i was in one of those one-of-a-kind shops in new york! this girl oh-ed and ah-ed, touching the vintage fabrics and sitting on all the uberly cool retro chairs throughout the store, and truly truly wishing she could buy all the quirky pieces!

top of the favourite's list is this old-fashioned lounge chair.....and in this girl's book...its reserved for the corner spot in this girl's room so no one can claim they have it cause i saw it first and its mine!

an awesome gem of a place, with a truly not-in-singapore vibe. i like!
