of mojitos and other madness: what's for dinner? ice cream!

guess what this girl had for dinner today? *grin* yup....ice cream! but not like any of the usual ice creams from the usual places (all of which are fabulous i do admit) but done cold rock style...mashed and mixed right in front of you by a chef no less!

ice cream chefs. a true hidden treasure that i am so glad is located in my side of town. think home style exotic flavours similar to that served up at island creamery and ice cream gallery, mixed with any mix-ins of your choice, giving the final cupful of ice cream the chunkiness and crunch ala ben & jerry's style. i had a large serving of the horlicks and mocha madness with a mix-in of classic malteasers...quite an awesome combination if i can say, with the fantastic blend of chocolate, coffee and malt with a hint of nuts all rolled into one. the oreos and cream and nutella delight mixed with m&m mix-ins is another good combi...brainchild of my nephew who devoured the entire cup all on his own! one can really go wild and truly creative in this place...there is literally something for everyone, including the passion kiwi fuz, which i would say is a must try, especially for those looking for a bit more tang and sorbe-ie flavour.

so...ice cream for dinner? this girl says...anytime!
